Pelosi's 2026 filings: Bloom Energy, Intel and long-dated AI calls

Rep. Nancy Pelosi filed four Periodic Transaction Reports with the House Clerk in 2026, on January 23, June 23, August 21 and October 2. Read together, the stock trades lean toward the hardware and power behind AI, and they rely heavily on call options that expire in 2027.

Under the STOCK Act, members of Congress must report trades in stocks and options above $1,000 within 45 days, on a Periodic Transaction Report (PTR) filed with the Clerk of the House. Amounts are reported in ranges, not exact dollars. Every trade below is listed in Pelosi's reports with the owner code SP, meaning the member's spouse.

January 23 filing: AI megacaps, rebalanced

The first 2026 report covers trades from December 24, 2025 to January 16, 2026. It shows sales of 20,000 NVIDIA shares, 20,000 Amazon shares and 45,000 Apple shares on December 24, 2025, along with donations of Alphabet and Apple shares to a donor-advised fund. In the same filing, the account bought new call options expiring January 15, 2027: 20 contracts each on NVIDIA (strike $100), Alphabet (strike $150), Amazon (strike $120) and Apple (strike $100).

On January 16, 2026, it exercised call options bought in January 2025, taking delivery of 5,000 shares each of NVIDIA (strike $80), Alphabet and Amazon (both strike $150), Vistra (strike $50) and Tempus AI (strike $20). Vistra sells electricity in markets where data centers are expanding; Tempus AI applies machine learning to medical data.

June 23 filing: Intel and Uber

The second report lists two trades on May 29, 2026: 200 Intel call contracts with a $50 strike expiring March 19, 2027, reported at $1,000,001 to $5,000,000, and 200 Uber call contracts with a $50 strike, same expiry, reported at $500,001 to $1,000,000.

August 21 filing: Bloom Energy

The third report is the most AI-infrastructure-heavy. Bloom Energy makes on-site fuel-cell power systems used by data centers that cannot wait for grid connections.

The same report lists a $500,001 to $1,000,000 additional investment, on July 27, in an LLC restoring a hotel in San Francisco.

October 2 filing: real estate only

The latest report lists a single transaction: a $500,001 to $1,000,000 investment on September 8, 2026 in an LLC acquiring an office property at 225 Bush Street in San Francisco. No stock or option trades appear in it.

The pattern in the filings

Across the 2026 reports, the stock activity moves from trimming large AI winners (NVIDIA, Apple, Amazon) at the end of 2025 toward suppliers of AI's physical inputs: chips (Intel) and power (Bloom Energy, and Vistra through the January exercise). Options do most of the work: the filings list 650 call contracts bought in 2026 trades alone: 400 on Intel and Uber in May, then 250 on Bloom Energy and Intel in July, all expiring in 2027.

A call option gives the right to buy shares at a set price before expiry; it can lose its entire value. Reported ranges make it impossible to know the exact amounts, and the filings say nothing about why any trade was made.

What it shows / What it doesn't

It shows

  • Every stock, option and private investment transaction listed in Rep. Pelosi's four 2026 Periodic Transaction Reports, with dates, strikes and reported ranges.
  • That the 2026 stock activity favored chips and power suppliers to AI, largely through 2027 call options.
  • That the owner of record for these trades is the member's spouse.

It doesn't show

  • Exact dollar amounts, since the STOCK Act requires only ranges.
  • Gains or losses, or whether positions are still held.
  • Any non-public information or wrongdoing. These are legally required public disclosures.
  • Trades that may be reported in future filings.

Why it matters

Pelosi's filings are among the most tracked by retail traders and copy-trading apps. The raw reports show something those apps often flatten: most of the 2026 exposure came through long-dated options, and the reported ranges are wide. Anyone mirroring them is copying a range, on a delay of weeks.
